Qui était Dean Cornwell ?

Dean Cornwell , né le 5 mars 1892 à Louisville, Kentucky, décédé le 4 décembre 1960 à New York. Cornwell était un illustrateur et muraliste américain gaucher. Ses peintures à l’huile apparaissaient souvent dans des magazines et des livres populaires sous forme d’illustrations littéraires, de publicités et d’affiches faisant la promotion de l’effort de guerre. Au cours de la première moitié du XXe siècle, il a été une présence dominante dans l’illustration américaine.
